Hotel Mar Y Mar, Puntarenas

I truly enjoyed the dining experience at Hotel Mar y Mar. The food was well presented, and I had the chance to try a curried carrot and coconut soup along with some taquitos. The complimentary banana flambé was the highlight of my meal! The restaurant served a good breakfast with fresh fruits and traditional Costa Rican dishes. I was very satisfied with the variety and quality of the food offered.

The room I stayed in was both clean and comfortable. I appreciated the air conditioning, especially during the warm days. It was equipped with a cozy double bed and had a lovely balcony view overlooking the pool. I felt at home and got excellent rest after my travels, making it a perfect spot for relaxation.

I found the bathroom facilities quite adequate for my needs. It included a spacious shower area, which was refreshing after a long day. While I did note that the bathroom could use some updates, it was clean and provided everything necessary for my stay. The thoughtful design of having a separate room for the toilet ensured privacy.

The pool at Hotel Mar y Mar was a good feature that really enhanced my stay. Even though it's on the smaller side, it was perfect for a refreshing swim after some sunbathing. The open hours from 8 AM to 8 PM allowed me to enjoy it whenever I wanted, making it a wonderful addition to the hotel's facilities.
